    No most don’t opt for implant over root canal they prefer just extraction because it’s the cheapest.. a Root canal requires a crown and costs 4000.00

      It would most likely depend on how much of an overbite. Might be a good idea to have a dental professional take a peek.

      It does take some practice. because everyone's mouth and teeth are shaped differently ...make sure your teeth are dry before applying them and you can also use your fingernail to push the strips in between the teeth a bit to lock into place.

      It CAN, although everyone's risk is different, it's a nice cold treat that helps with swelling. The key is to roll water around in your mouth right after to get the pH in your mouth back to normal. Alway work with your dental professional of course and they may also suggest an alternative like a frozen yogurt for instance.

    Just got a tooth pulled by my 3rd dentist. Had pain while at a family emergency on July 4th. Thought it was stress. Wasn't able to get home until the middle of August. My dentist got me in the day after I returned home but said I needed a root canal and he couldn't do it because the roots were curved, so I was sent to an endodontist. He said he would advise the root canal and said there was no reason to pull the tooth even though it had a cap on it. Wasn't going to be able to do it until September 5th. There was a cancelation so they got me in sooner. I thought he was finished and he left the room for a long time and said he'd be back to tell me what he found. Came back and informed me it failed and I'd either have to go back to my dentist or an oral surgeon. My dentist couldn't get me in until September 5th, crazy. I called another dentist and fortunately they got me in that day. I was in so much pain, plus because of everything and infection I was needing to be on antibiotics asap because of 2 recent knee replacements and the endodontist wasn't wanting to give me the antibiotics I was needing so I had to call my knee surgeon. Still in pain due to all the trauma but I've been a good girl and did everything the 3rd dentist told me to do, which was all of the above. 😂

    Muscle spasms can also be caused by cell walls on the neurons in the brain becoming thin, causing electrical arching triggering spasms. The cell walls can become thin a few different reasons, such as chemical exposure, over exercise, malnutrition, and dehydration. It's always good to start by drinking water right away to lessen the shock of the event. To treat the other three causes having them all relate to the need of specific nutrients. Those nutrients being complex carbons to rebuild the cell wall strength in brain cells. Complex carbons are essentially cholesterol. During an event as such a severe spasm it is good to right away eat a couple eggs with the yolk. And also liver of any kind, but prefer braunschweiger because it is immediately ready for consumption in cases of such emergency. I personally live a close to cholesterol free diet. But it can be dangerous in the situation these spasms start to occur. Cholesterol is very important in your diet to create bile in your digestive tract to properly digest food. Without any cholesterol in your diet once having defeated high blood pressure can lead to certain colorectal cancers such as bleeding and ulcerations. So remember it's good to eat cholesterol. And it's a must do thing during such severe muscle spasms such as lock jaw.

    I have always suffered with my tongue resting place since childhood. I always felt that my tongue is too big and it always comes out unconsciously and sometimes uncontrollably. Even while sleeping my tongue used to come out as If I have a pacifier. I tried to get rid of this habit as it made my life miserable specially in school (bullying). I think it was because of the last reason you mentioned 4:40. Is there any other way along with the consciously resting the tongue at the right place and treat it once and for all??

    This blew me away. I did my Oral Myofunctional Therapy training last year and I just launched my virtual practice. I would love to send you kiddos to help. They REALLY need to teach this in Dental and Dental Hygiene school. I will definitely reach out. I just had a mom reach out to me yesterday who has an 18 month old who mouth breathes. My daughter is 17 and I wonder if the tooth pillow could help her at all? I do see age 5 and up for virtual assessments and I would like to send them to you for tooth pillow too. I think Myofunctional Therpay and the Tooth Pillow could both be an essential part of helping preventing major orthodontic and disordered breathing in kids, and oral surgery in teens and adults. Thanks you Dr Halle for your passion and dedication. Hopefully we will get to me someday. After years as a clinical RDH I hope to also get so busy I let the other RDH do the cleaning and scaling. The cool things I’ve realized that when people have a lip seal and nasal breath, have the tongue posture up and don’t have a tongue thrust type swallow they don’t have as much plaque. That equals less gingivitis. Just my observation in the last year. BURST kids brushes will help them really keep up with their oral hygiene/health. My daughter loved advent calendars but never made it to the 25th open then. Nice ti know the back story on that packing Hamish ☺️

    • @BURSTOralCareTV
      @BURSTOralCareTV 10 дней назад

      The recommendations for exercise will really depend on how many teeth you had extracted and your overall medical history so it's BEST to ask the provider that removed the teeth. Many will say one full week before anything really strenuous but again it will vary from person to person so maybe reach out to your dentist before the office closes

It made me feel relaxed, relaxation am supposing helped any patient. One feels lucky to know it mattered to doctors that we the patients felt relaxed. Heartfelt thanks to you❤. The procedure is actually very troubling, I was feeling quite the stress on my body. Thanks a lot doctor. I am not from medical field so I can't say what is good or bad..I have nothing to compare. Plus I doubt I would want to put my body up for comparison or competition of any sort. But handing over your body, mind and life to someone else is a very difficult affair for me personally. I thought I cared for myself well. Or could try to if left to myself. And not remote controlled. 😊

    Recently purchased the Burst Pro Sonic and have question about pressure sensor. I noticed on brush head the there is a white plastic piece in middle of bristles. When I brush sometimes, that plastic piece has a popping sound when I go over my teeth. I assume that indicates that I am brushing too hard?

    I wrapped a small towel around a frozen water bottle the 1st night. It helped tremendously. I used a straw, no issues, i ate mashed potatoes for 2-3 days. Pain off and on for 1-1/2 weeks, im at 15 days and most of the pain has subsided just a little sensitive at the gum. I was really worried about dry socket, but no. Happy its over. Oh ya i'm in my late 60's, i had 2 removed in my 40's and it was much less painful and i healed a lot faster, i never take pain medication 💊 none. Ice definitely helps
